Our mission is to empower marginalized children and young people in slum communities to transform their lives through creative arts. Through our five focus areas, we are raising empowered, resilient, and self-confident young people who seize opportunities, shape resilient futures, and lead change in their communities.
Temple Talents began in 2021 as a small group of internally displaced children in the slums of Western Division, Soroti City—reading aloud, sharing stories, and drumming traditional songs to preserve a sense of normalcy and routine during the Covid-19 pandemic. Today, we empower children and young people across five focus areas.
Temple Talents Foundation is registered as a Community-Based Organization by Soroti City Council under the Non-Governmental Organisations Act, 2016 of Uganda, Registration No. 6037.
