Our Story

TTF began in 2021 as a small group of internally displaced children in the slums of Western Division, Soroti City, reading aloud, sharing stories, and drumming traditional songs to maintain normalcy and a sense of routine amid the Covid-19 pandemic, after schools were closed, churches suspended, and movement restricted. After the lockdowns were lifted in 2022 and life slowly returned to normal, the group registered as a non-profit at the encouragement of parents and the community.
