Workforce Readiness & Livelihoods

We equip young people with practical skills and entrepreneurial tools to build pathways out of exploitation and into decent work. Our Workforce Readiness & Livelihoods program focuses on life skills, vocational training, and small business development, helping youth transition from survival-based hustles to sustainable income opportunities.

Currently, our main focus is on preparing teenagers and young adults for real-world challenges through hands-on workshops and mentorship. Participants learn essential skills such as financial literacy, communication, problem-solving, and basic business planning. We also promote eco-friendly trades—such as craft-making from recycled car tyres—as creative and sustainable income options. Youth are supported to start micro-enterprises, individually or in groups, while building confidence, motivation, and an entrepreneurial mindset. These activities foster self-reliance and open up new choices for dignified livelihoods.
